Services for Organizations - Consultation Focus
Vocational Rehabilitation Baseline and Outcome Studies
The Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) system assists people with mental and physical disabilities to acquire or maintain jobs. VR agencies are in every state and the District of Columbia. CCPS uses State VR and the National Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA) 911 Databases, while also investigating racial and ethnic differences in the Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling system in the United States. In short, we analyze existing data to inform organizations about where they are relative to their mission, goals, and targets within their strategic plan.
The following cultural diversity issues affect vocational rehabilitation and will be considered in any baseline and outcome studies that CCPS performs. These issues can manifest as irrational fears, discrimination, and conflict that can affect the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization, and the clients or customers served by the organization. The below list represents some of the categories that CCPS can address within an organization.
