José M. Wilson, B.S.
A well-rounded professional staff developer, communicator, health educator, and community leader, José M. Wilson has successfully guided local and national organizations to increased productivity and accountability. He incorporates more than 18 years of special training, education, and personal experiences, including serving as president/CEO of a successful Chicago-based fitness business. Health and wellness are skillfully woven into all of his presentations and the strong connections between mind, body, and personal success are clearly made to participants. A high-energy, all-American college student-athlete, José has studied the art of team building and helps organizations unlock their potential to create high-performing teams and esprit de corps in what can be complex and cumbersome management systems. Trained by some of the best nationally recognized community leadership development organizations (including the National Coalition-Building Institute, the National Multicultural Institutes, the National Service Leadership Institute, Project Adventure, Outward Bound, Youth Build USA-Youth On Board, The Corporation for National and Community Service, International Sports Sciences Association, and the World Instructor Training Schools), José believes that if any organization or individual is trainable, they're fixable. Organizations as diverse as José's training background have benefited from his knowledge and enthusiasm. These organizations include the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Illinois Department of Human Services, Points of Light Foundation, Corporation of National and Community Service, Big Brothers and Sisters of America, Hands On Network, Loyola University, National Able Network, Chicago Economic Development Association, and many community development corporations, hospitals and churches.
