CCPS Intern
Alexa Hodge, (email: ahodge@ccpspa.com)
Alexa Hodge graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in May of 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation and Human Services as well as a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. While attending Penn State, she conducted original research on the influence of families on first generation college students. Her undergraduate years were filled with experiences serving various populations--such as first generation college students, at-risk youth, the elderly, and college freshmen--in numerous capacities. She brings these experiences with her as she begins her first year of graduate school in the Mental Health Counseling in Schools and Communities Master's program. With her experiences as well as the knowledge she will gain through her graduate studies and internship with CCPS, she hopes to one day serve underrepresented individuals and eventually obtain her Ph.D in a related field.
